Certificate in Networking Principles.
This certificate course is intended to give a student the basics and ability to network computers. It further enables the student to manage small networks and troubleshoot network problems in the local area networks (LANs) and to further configuration network systems using different network topologies. Students will learn the distinction between routers, hubs and switches, and the types of cables most used in computer networks.
Certificate in Website Designing.
In this course a student is given knowledge and skill of using HTML in FrontPage and Notepad editors. The student is further introduced to JavaScript language programming, Dreamweaver, PHP, Cascade Script Style (CSS) and the use of MySQLi technology in web designing. At the end of the course a student is expected to have knowledge and skill in designing and updating both dynamic and static websites.
Certificate in Computer Repair & Maintenance.
This certificate course helps a student to understand the inner part of the computer. The student is introduced to Hardware and software components of the system and a very good understanding of the system hardware is emphasized alongside their functions. At the end of the course a student is expected to trouble shoot any hardware and software problems of the system, and installing both hardware and software.
PHOTOSHOP SUITE
In this course a student is introduced to the technology of graphics using Adobe Photoshop graphic suite. The student is taken through the basics of editing JPEG, GIF, TIFF images. Further animations using the Photoshop are introduced to the student. The student is expected to be able to use Photoshop and edit any image and text as may be required by the assignment thereafter.
CORELDRAW SUITE
This course of graphics helps the student to be a professional and occasional designer. Corel draw suite has a power design creation and layout tools that can be used to make a good looking design outcome, together with a student’s creativity. At the end of the course a student is expected to be able to edit bitmap images in CorelDraw and design business, wedding card and many creative designs.
PAGEMAKER SUITE
Students get a good test of the page layout using a professional touch. Adobe PageMaker introduces the student to professional publications such as brochures and newsletters. At the end of the course a student will be able to compiler a complete brochure with good graphics.
ILLUSTRATOR
Introduces students to a broader art of designing. Adobe illustrator is essential for industrial art designers. It has multiple artboards and good brushes that can make your design professional.
